Ron Weingust
With many years of experience, Ron has worked in the healthcare industry in pharmaceuticals, devices and diagnostics. He has contributed to organizations building commercial operations in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Partner & Stakeholder Relations and Key Account Management. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the In Initiative team.
Ron began his career in sales in the pharmaceutical industry and took on positions of increasing functions and responsibilities. He is responsible for numerous product launches and has worked on pipeline products and partner initiatives. In his roles in Diagnostics he was responsible for commercial activities that contributed to strategies and initiatives resulting in significant revenue growth.
He has worked closely with Government and Stakeholder Relations Groups to implement programs and affect change in industry. In all of his roles, Ron has stressed an understanding of his customers, clients and stakeholders.
Ron is a MBA graduate from Queen’s University majoring in Marketing. He has also completed a Master of Science (Immunology) from the University of Western Ontario and an Honours Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Windsor.
