Bob began his journey through the pharmaceutical industry as a sales representative for Abbott Labs (a very long time ago). After further learning and development through Product Management and Sales Management postings, he ventured off to join Glaxo in the mid 1980’s. Over the next 15 years, Glaxo experienced tremendous growth in sales that was matched by overwhelming organizational growth. Bob had the opportunity to serve in a number of senior Marketing and Sales functions, as well as leading their Business Development team for nearly 5 years. “Through every job I have had, I have most enjoyed creative problem solving and doing the things that “can’t be done”.”
Bob founded a Healthcare Consulting business in 2001 and also created a social networking system aimed at improving the overall minor hockey experience for Canadian kids.
Bob recently served as the President and CEO of Theramed Corporation, a specialty pharmaceutical company, and Theramed remains an important client of Bob’s consulting practice.
His expertise in Business Development and Alliance Management, unique sales solutions, creative problem solving and crisis management are the central focus of Bob’s role in I3.
One of his favorite sayings is a quote from Col. Charles (Bull) Symon Ret. Of the US Special Forces… “quickly figure out what needs to be done, and then execute violently”.
