Chris brings 20 years of practical marketing and management experience and seven years of experience in seniors housing and to the In Initiative team. His philosophy and approach is focused on developing excellence from the inside out through a detailed analysis of branding, image, hr issues and services. This extensive background in business development in the seniors housing industry gives Chris a detailed and thorough understanding of process re-engineering, team building, strategic planning, project analysis, sponsorship and event marketing, public (media) relations, advertising, promotional planning and financial management.
Over the last 7 years, Chris created and launched the “Our Home, Your Home” brand and customized community campaign, spearheaded new business development models for retirement homes, orchestrated the introduction of ORCA accreditation for retirement residences, managed capital spending, and created the Wii Seniors Olympics (Canadian Championships), which received national media attention.
Chris graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours Bachelor of Physical Education with a major in Business Administration.
